My brother has disabilities so our Christmas is a little different. Sometimes it gets hard when other people get to do certain things while I may not be able to do them, this goes the same for my brother. There are certain things that he does not get to do either. I am thankful for the life I have been given and I do not wish to have anyone else’s life. Coming into your life with a positive attitude, means positive things will happen in return.
Nobody has a perfect life and wishing for one isn't a good thing to do. I am aware that there are some people who are less fortunate. During this break I prayed for things to get better for those who may be in a hard time in their life right now. Remembering that the Lord is with you throughout your daily life has really affected the way I go through my day. I am trying to be more positive with my actions and also my thoughts. The best gift I have received this Christmas was coming to this realization. Moreover, many people may not be as fortunate as you. Always remember to be thankful for the life you have, love others around you, spread your happiness and faith, and also don't forget to enjoy your break from your work/school. -S
