Pastoral Council

The Pastoral Council’s primary role shall be to serve as a consultative and advisory body to the Pastor in all matters which shall ensure the implementation of the Parish Mission statement. All decisions of the Pastoral Council and its committees and Officers shall be in accord with the current teachings of the Roman Catholic Church and existing ecclesiastical laws and direction.
 
Members
Each member of the Pastoral Council shall be a registered member of the parish and, except for the youth representative, shall be at least 18 years old. Members must be active in parish life and ministries. (Excerpt of the Constitution of the Pastoral Council)
 
Committees
Recognizing the great responsibilities in administering the parish community, the Pastoral Council shall initiate and sustain the following committees as consultative and advisory bodies to the Pastor. 
a)      Parish Unity
b)      Evangelization (Internal / External)
c)      Social Action
d)      Strategic Planning
e)      Parish Communications
Members of the Pastoral Council shall actively participate in one or more of the committees cited above. (Excerpt of the Constitution of the Pastoral Council)
