Bereavement
Ministry.
A
Journey From Grief To Healing
The
Bereavement Ministry reaches out to both the young
and old at their time of loss in a variety of
ways. Providing emotional and spiritual support
through prayer and education in a variety programs:
Initial
Grief Support Group. A support group
for adults who have experienced the loss of
a loved one.
Funeral Luncheon. Registered
parishioners of Holy Redeemer may request
a funeral luncheon that is prepared by the
Council of Catholic Women after the funeral
liturgy.
Continuing Grief Support. This
newly formed group provides an opportunity
for those who have lost a spouse to meet socially
in an informal setting for continued grief
support.
Teen Bereavement.
In order to better assist teenagers,
the Teen Bereavement group meets separately
from the adult group and meets on an "as
needed" basis in the Annex.
Rainbows for
All God's Children. This program
is designed for children ages 5-12 who have
encountered loss, to include divorce, illness,
moving or through the death of a close friend,
relative or pet.

Elizabeth
Ministry.
Elizabeth Ministry is a group of women sharing and
mentoring other women in the childbearing years.
This unique ministry allows women to draw on their
personal experiences to be of service to one another.
They share their experiences of childbirth, miscarriage,
adoption, etc. with other women who are going through
a similar experience.

HIV/AIDS
Ministry.
Ministers provide unconditional, non-judgmental,
emotional support to those who are infected
or affected by the HIV/AIDS virus. Anyone
seeking assistance is treated with compassion,
dignity and respect. The group is faithful
to the Church, its teachings, and understands
the importance of confidentiality.

normally meet on the second Thursday of each
month. Sincerely dedicated, and not just curious,
individuals are needed for Holy Redeemer's

Ministry
to the Sick & Shut-ins.
The Ministry to the Sick reaches out to the
homebound, sick, hospitalized, and those in
nursing homes in a variety of ways and is
comprised of the following ministries:

Eucharistic Ministers to the Sick: The
spiritual needs of those who are not able
to join us for the Eucharist receive Communion
on a regular basis through visitation.
· Helping Hands: Ministers
lend a "helping hand" by providing
a listening ear (to talk and share); by
providing transportation (a ride to Mass
or to run errands); or a caring heart to
those who are sick or homebound through
visitation.

Ministry
of Praise.
This ministry asks members to offer their prayers,
works, joys and sufferings for the needs of the
Church; for the needs of Holy Redeemer in particular;
and for the world. It is a powerhouse of graces
and blessings for our priests, staff, school, parish
ministries and all members of our parish.

Prison
Ministry.
Those in need who, for whatever reason, find themselves
behind prison walls are ministered to through visitation.
We are called to reach out to all those in need;
to show our love and concern for even the least
within God's Kingdom.

PROJECT
5000.
PROJECT 5000 provides emergency food supplies
to those in need. Holy Redeemer has a generous
history and reputation for sharing love and
