Catholic Family Life Ministry

After much prayer and discussion, we have decided that the dynamics of our group have changed over the past several years.

We feel that the name Catholic Family Life better represents our ministry and outreach to our parish community. We will begin to make changes through email and in the bulletin to share our new vision for our group. We have discussed these changes with Fr. Chris and he is very supportive. We would like to focus our ministry of Catholic Family Life on supporting the following ministries in the parish: Baptismal Seminars and inviting young families to attend our events; getting more involved in marriage preparation for new couples (such as FOCUS group and NFP meetings); be more supportive of Youth Ministry, Young Adults group, Young Married Couples, and our School Families. We will also continue to host monthly social events (potlucks, game nights, movie nights), Bible studies, Days of Reflection, Rosaries, and Service projects.

Two comments for all of those checking in on this website:

1. If you are a young adult just out of high school, a college student, single, newly married, or just want to take the lead of a Young Adults program in the church, please let me know so I can direct you to Fr. Chris or Rose. There is definitely a need for a Young Adults Ministry, but volunteers are needed to organize this ministry. Please pray to see if God is calling you to this ministry.
