Rainbows for All God's Children is a program designed to help children who have suffered a loss in their lives.

If a child:

· has experienced the death of a parent
· has divorced parents
· is part of a single parent family
· is part of a stepfamily
· is struggling through a painful experience

Rainbows, is the opportunity for him/her to share with someone on the "outside" what is happening on the "inside." Our volunteers will help these children put their feelings into words, work through their grief, build a stronger self-esteem and begin to accept what has taken place in their family.

The goal of Rainbows is HEALING.

Rainbows is a 12 week program that meets once a week, any child may return for a second series after a 6 week rest.
Volunteers are thoroughly trained and certified by the diocese.

Teen Bereavement is a separate program for children of teen age--Click here for more detail.
