Bereavement Ministry:
A Journey From Grief To Healing
The Bereavement Ministry reaches out to both the young and old at their time of loss in a variety of ways. Providing emotional and spiritual support through prayer and education in a variety programs:
- Initial Grief Support Group. A support group for adults who have experienced the loss of a loved one. More . . .
- Funeral Luncheon. Registered parishioners of Holy Redeemer may request a funeral luncheon that is prepared by the Council of Catholic Women after the funeral liturgy.
- Continuing Grief Support. This group provides an opportunity for those who have lost a spouse to meet socially in an informal setting for continued grief support. More . . .
- Teen Bereavement. In order to better assist teenagers, the Teen Bereavement group meets separately from the adult group and meets on an "as needed" basis in the Annex. More . . .
