Following are common prayers--often said daily:

Apostle's Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth; and in
Jesus Christ, His only Son, Our Lord; who
was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of
the Virgin Mary, suffered under
Pontius Pilate, was crucified,
died, and was buried.
He descended into hell; the third day he
arose again from the dead. He ascended
into heaven; sits at the right hand of
God, the Father Almighty; from thence
He shall come to judge the living and
the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the
Holy Catholic Church, the communion of
saints, the forgiveness of sins, the
resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.
Amen.

Prayer for Vocations

God our Father, in baptism you called us
by name and made us members of
your people, the Church.
We praise you for your goodness,
we thank you for your gifts.
Father, bless your Church with love.
Raise up dedicated and generous leaders
from our families and from our friends who
will serve as sisters, priests and brothers.
Send your Spirit to guide and strengthen
those you are calling to serve
your people, following the example of
your Son, Jesus Christ,
in whose name we offer this prayer.
Amen.

Beatitudes

Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for their's is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are they who mourn,
for they will be comforted.

Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the land.

Blessed are they who hunger and thirst
for righteousness,
for they will be satisfied.

Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.

Blessed are the clean of heart,
for they will see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God.

Blessed are they who are persecuted for
the sake of righteousness,
for their's is the kingdom of heaven.

Memorare

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known
that anyone who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help
or sought thy intercession,
was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence,
I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins,
my Mother.
To thee I come, before thee I stand,
sinful and sorrowful,
O Mother of the Word Incarnate,
despise not my petitions
but in thy mercy hear and answer me.
Amen.

Attributed to St. Bernard of Clairvaux

Hail Mary

Hail Mary, full of grace!
The Lord is with thee,
blessed are thou
among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the
hour of our death.
Amen.

Glory Be

Glory be to the Father,
and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was
in the beginning,
is now and
ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.

Angel of God

Angel of God,
my Guardian dear,
to whom God's love
entrusts me here.
Ever this day
be at my side;
to light and guard,
to rule and guide.
Amen.

Sign of the Cross

In the name of the
Father, and of the Son,
and of the Holy Spirit,
Amen.

The Lord's Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name,
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and leave us not into temptation
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.
