Mrs Rose Dzejak
Director of Religious Education
Holy Redeemer Parish

Our Director of Religious Education (DRE), Rose Dzejak, was born in New Jersey and moved to Florida and Holy Redeemer Parish 20 years ago. She has a BS degree from Rutgers University in Medical Technology and an MA from Loyola University in Pastoral Ministry/Liturgy.

As the mother of three (3), Rose has been involved with Religious Education at Holy Redeemer since her arrival 20 years ago. She was formally hired in 1993 as Assistant DRE to Brother James. This past Fall, we were proud to announce Rose as the Director of Religious Education for Holy Redeemer Parish. An awesome undertaking with over 2,000 children enrolled in the program and the responsibility of half a dozen related ministries as well. With her formal training, eight (8) years professional experience and her deep spiritual commitment, we know she is up to the task! (Besides, we didn't let Br James go far!!)

Rose also has certifications from the Diocese of Orlando as Master Catechist and is certified as a catechist in liturgical catechesis and sacramental catechesis. She serves as an instructor for the diocesan Catechist certification program.

Married to Don Dzejak for 28 years, their three (3) children have grown up in the Holy Redeemer family and are a credit to their parents and parish alike.

  • Dan, studying Computer Science at UCF.
  • Drew, a chef in Charleston, South Carolina and will be married this summer to Stephanie (also a chef).
  • Alicia, a senior at OHS, will be going to High Point University in North Carolina to study Interior Design.

Affiliations: Rose belongs to the NCCL (National Conference of Catechetical Leaders) and NCEA (National Catholic Educators Association).

Hobbies: Sewing, crochet, calligraphy, ceramics and she loves to read.
