Baptism:

Parents wishing to have their children baptized at Holy Redeemer must first attend a Baptism Seminar scheduled for Friday evenings. This seminar will consist of talks on the theology of Baptism, breaking open the symbols of baptism and a walk through the Rite of Baptism.

Here at Holy Redeemer we are committed to the idea that Baptism is a community celebration (you are bringing your child to be made a child of the Body of Christ, the Church) and so we celebrate this sacrament at community celebrations.

The Baptism of your child is a major event in your family and we know that you need to plan well ahead so that members of the family can make arrangements to come from distant places.

Please contact the Religious Education Office to schedule the Baptism of your child AND to register for the Baptism Seminar.
