First Holy Communion

WELCOM TO FIRST HOLY COMMUNION

Eucharist (Holy Communion) in the Catholic Church is a Sacrament and a Sacrifice and is the source and summit of our Christian life. We believe that the consecrated bread and wine are truly the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ as given to us through his Apostles at his Last Supper. This is truly the sacrament of love, unity and remembrance.

Any baptized child may begin preparation for the sacrament First Communion by registration in the parish Faith Formation program.  The 2 years of required classes for First Communion may begin as early as 1st grade and the sacrament may be received as early as 2nd grade.
