Our current The Eucharist is "the source and summit of our faith." In order to help priests distribute Communion to the community, Ministers of Holy Communion are prepared to serve during Mass and to take communion to the home-bound and sick. Confirmed Catholics are invited to serve as Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion.
It is a great honor to bring the body and blood of Christ to the community of faith. All new Ministers of Holy Communion are trained through diocesan and parish workshops. For more information, click on the General Instructions below.
