WELCOME TO RCIA & ADULT FAITH FORMATION
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is an adaptation of the traditions of the early Church in bringing new members into the Catholic community. It is a process by which the candidates enter into the Catholic community by entering a step-by-step process toward full membership in the Church.
Preparation is essential for being received into the Catholic Church and receiving the Sacraments of Initiation. During a period of preparation a candidate is given the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of our faith and grow in a personal relationship with God through prayer and community. This period of preparation is guided by the Rite of Christian Initation of Adults (RCIA)
The RCIA program is open to anyone who wishes to explore the Catholic faith but has not completed the reception of the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist) at the Easter Vigil Mass.
FIRST COMMUNION AND CONFIRMATION FOR ADULTS
Completing the Sacraments of Initiation are some of life's most significant moments. Many are complete these sacraments at a young age. Others draw closer to the Church as adults after having a significant experience that bring them back to the sacraments. A person is brought to full communion with the Catholic Church through the reception of the three Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist.
Those who are validly baptized and would like to complete their Sacraments of Initiation with the reception of Confirmation and First Eucharist are also welcomed to join the weekly RCIA classes in preparation.
